MNS - Maharashtra Navnirman Sena - what is the solution to this disease?

Different acronyms have been coined for this so called political party which has no representation in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly yet and the 2009 elections shall be its debut one.

Some call it :

Maharashtra Nadaan Sena

Mediocre Negative Sena

The party has invited ire from all quarters of the country and Indians living across the globe.

All began in February 2008 when the media-managers of MNS invited TV camera crews for covering up of various events of goondaism, rowdism, hooliganism and utter disrespect for the law of the land all which were later telecast on National news!

Since then MNS has become notorious for its anti-Indian, anti-Democratic and anti-North Indian tirades.

But since October 2008 it has become a big pain for all of us who live here in Mumbai.

The ghastly cowardly acts of beating outstation students who were sleeping at Kalyan railway station with the TV camera crew invited to cover the event, hitting the examinees and disrupting of a Railway recruitment examination in Mumbai, then sporadic killing of Dharam Raj Rai on a local train while he was about to board a train to leave Mumbai for good, then a broad day light shoot out - encounter - murder of an angry young boy Rahul Raj in Kurla aboard a bus he had hijacked with a "katta"(a local made one-shot a time pistol).

Raj Thackeray's arrest from a coastal district of Maharashtra was made out to be some what of National importance with camera crews covering the event right from there to Mumbai and till Kalyan in the night!

As expected the Bandra East court was the place he was supposedly to be produced after his mid night arrest, a few hundred rowdy elements descended the highway adjacent to the court and disrupted traffic for the day!

In the night when Raj was taken to Kalyan police station, the district witnessed the worst rioting in recent times and few innocent lives were lost over the arrest of the leader of MNS.

Till now the number of deaths which have been counted is close to 20 a majority of them being from Bihar & UP.

The number of injured should be nothing less than a few hundreds and damage to public property stands at a figure of 50 Lakhs!

Imagine all this for what gain?

It's time we as Indians came together and took to the roads in response to such utter disrespect for human life and public property.

Arresting Raj Thackeray is not the solution.

Putting him away for good like sending him to a jail beyond Maharashtra for a decade is what is needed.

Wake Up Indians!

One should not ignore injustice to your fellow Indian just because its not you who is facing the abuse and knocks!

Collectively we can make a better India!
